Come for the pizza and pie, but stay for the farm food safety workshop, sponsored by Indiana Farmers Union (INFU). On Nov. 2, 2018, Dugger Family Farm in Morristown, Indiana, is hosting a farm food safety workshop from 5 to 8 p.m., where guests can enjoy pizza and pie (sugar cream!) for dinner while learning the basics of building their farm food safety plans.
As a part of the INFU’s annual convention weekend, the event, made possible through a Local Food Safety Collaboration grant awarded to Indiana Farmers Union, is FREE to attend and open to farmers and food producers hoping to learn more about how to safely harvest, process, and distribute their products. We invite guests to come out, socialize and network with other Indiana farmers, enjoy dinner on Indiana Farmers Union, and learn more about keeping their farm food safe and their customers happy.
